Researching the NYSE, United Airline and WSJ computer crashes today I ran across a very interesting website that tracks Cyber Attacks in real time. I will dig and learn more about this. In the mean time check it out.
EDIT: one of my IT friends pointed out that this is showing Origin of a packet, destination of the packet and other info. So some of these can just be non threatening data. But you see that most are coming from China and directed to the U.S., I don’t think they are ordering from Amazon….. Just sayin …….YMMV
This is a very cool website and gives you an idea of how much malicious traffic is floating around the internet at any give moment. It is good to note that this is only tracking bad guy traffic that is hitting Norse/Norse affiliated honeypots so it isn’t an entirely accurate picture of internet danger.
