Easy way to get to word to your representatives on the Amateur Parity Radio Act just add you zipcode and get an automated form, fill in your contact info and hit send. Please let all hams and non-hams know that those of us who live in HOA controlled communities, would like to get this past.
The law just asks for “reasonable accommodations” for antennas. Not a mandate to allow for 70 foot towers.
Ham radio operators are a vital part of disaster preparedness and response for everything from missing children to supplying communications for man-made and natural disasters like hurricanes and tornadoes. We provide critical communication services when things go Tango Uniform, and we do it free of charge.

Constable Jesse Bear says
Please support this vital legislation. As a 25 year public safety member of law enforcment, EMS and the volunteer fire service here in Arkansas I have seen first hand what Amateur radio does in our communities.
I live less than 5 miles from the damage paths of the tornados that hit Vilonia Arkansas in recent years. I am also A HAM and spotter with Arkansas Skywarn. The ability of Amateur radio operators to assist in Storm spotting from their homes and to provide comunications support after the storms as we did in Vilonia for weeks afterword is paramount.
Amateur radio is the back bone of every disaster comunications protocol and as the motto goes “When all else fails we don’t”. Please throw your suport behind this legislation in the interest of the “Public Good”. This costs nothing to the tax payer and takes no freedoms from anyone. It does give back the freedoms and liberties earned by license to those willing to give freely of themselves to their comunities.
Sincerely
Jesse Bear
