Test Transmissions in the Atlanta area?
« on: February 20, 2012, 09:30:22 PM »
I was scanning with my Yaesu tonight and it stopped on 146.635 at around 9pm.

There was conversation with a man who was obviously a lic HAM talking to a older woman talking about getting her general I think.

I thought I heard him say something about others testing their raidos and the third sunday every month for testing at Georgia Tech.....(any info and names numbers so I can go...Ive had a time getting response to e mail).... and get studying as well..

So is there someone on where we can test new radios?

I think someone on this board PMd me about it but Im having issues...lol

Thanks

I can't help you on uhf/vhf but if you need hf testing I'd be glad to help.  I'm around most of the time and can do 160-10m.  Just let me know.  I'm in TN.

I can help ya, send me a PM. I can do uhf/vhf I have most of the repeaters too.. I think 146.635 is simplex, or that might be out in d-vile.... I don't have that one programmed but I can look it up if it is a repeater. Just hit me up, there are a bunch of repeaters in the area you should be able to hit.
