What time is it? What day is it for that matter?

Below is a map of the countries or areas of Time Zones that DO NO SUPPORT DST (Daylight Savings Time).
It is a very large map so make sure you scan left, right, up and down.
(more about this under the image).

Myself and a few of the other members live in an area of Arizona that does not recognize DST so our relationship with those parts of the world that do recognize DST changes by 1 hour while the are in DST. During the winter time or NON-DST we are the same as the Denver area or MST. During DST we are the same as the Los Angeles area. This means that PDT is the same as MST. We are used to it but many times a year during DST we are constantly explaining to the DSTers the difference.

In the Ham world you do your QSOs are logged by UTC. This is the same time for the WHOLE world. An interesting bit of trivia is that the area of the world that is the source for UTC or GMT (Greenwich Mean Time)  is a city in the UK called Greenwich and it follows DST.

The purpose for "One Time" was first required to support Maritime Navigation.
Here's a link about it.

Here is an excellent site for time around the country. You can set the page up to display like you wish for your next visit:

This site has the UTC clock on the the top of the page for easy access:
