I have FT 897D and a FT 857D.  One for Home (FT 897D) and then mobile (FT 857D)

Just found this:

QRZ - Yaesu 857D For Sale

Price is a bit high, but maybe he's willing to negotiate a bit?

I'd do 500-600... I've got an 897D, I just need something a bit more manageable for the Truck.. I don't have much room in there. If you've got something PM me with your e-mail address and we can hash it out. I sent the fellow a text, on QRZ..   I'm in no hurry, I'd just like a decent rig for a decent price.

I contacted him, he wants 700.00 + shipping... for the difference, if you were going to spend the money, you might as well get one with a warranty.

In case you're still looking for an 857D, I found this one tonight, on QRZ, and the price is pretty good. Listed at $600 shipped.
