50ohm H-155 coax suitability?

(1/1)

GreekMan:
I found a source for this coax which is a low loss Rg-58 like one
https://www.atel-electronics.eu/produkt.php?hash=02052#coaxial_cables_50_937_up_to_3ghz
which is similar to this.
https://www.tme.eu/gb/details/h155/coaxial-cables/belden/h155a00/

comparing the attenuation to the RG-58U -according to Belden datasheets- the numbers are 18 and 32 dB at 400Mhz and 100meters

i see no reason not to use the H-155 for HF, VHF and UHF radio, but i wish to check before....
Thanks

Tempstar:
no reason this wouldn't be suitable.

GreekMan:
yes i found out reading the literature.
BUT
i won't be using it.....I found out that the the local store stocking it was one in a million thing. no way it can get any.
So i will be saving it.
And i did not even decided what connectors to put on...
