How to - work DX, even on ten meters
« on: March 21, 2012, 12:43:36 PM »
As many of you know, the ten meter band is available to brand new amateur radio operators.

Here's a sample of the long-distance contacts I've seen on ten this morning.  This is in SPITE of the fact that ten meters is very "iffy" and subject to all kinds of propagation "problems" and enhancements.

Note that just about all of these radio operators are in other countries.  If you look closely, you can see that WA4STO (that'd be moi) worked LU8EX who is in Argentina.

If you like, you can go to http://www.qrz.com

and type in "LU8EX" to see a picture of his radio "shack" - seems like the internet is bringing us closer and closer together...
