Scube

You should call the FCC and check. 1-877-480-3201

If you are not in the system , then Also have the VE resubmit.

Did you get you a FCC Registration Number (FRN)?  I did and it helps speed up the process.

I just looked in the advanced search and found nothing has been entered into the system

Applicant Name=Scubadivingjoe(i used just you last name)
Applicant State=Arizona

No, I did not think about getting a FRN first.  Did not think about that being everyone was saying that they were getting there call name very fast.  I also found out that RocknToy has not gotten theirs yet.

OK, Just got off the phone with the FCC and found out some info.  The Instructor (who ever gave the Test) has upto 10 days to submit your request.  It first goes to the VEC, where they have upto 10 days to send it to the FCC, where they have upto 10 days before they post your call name.  That is a total of 30 days.  The FCC does not have an Application on record for me yet, so they said it could still be with the Instructor or at VEC.   I have contacted the instructor and they say they sent it in.

I would call the FCC at this point and tell them the thing is lost in the mail, what is the backup plan. Can you send in your copy of the CSCE to them for approval and add?

If it was an upgrade it would be no big deal.. You just use /AG or /AE but waiting for a new license sucks!!

When I talked to them, they said If my call name does not show up on the web page by the 2 week of March, to call them again and they will file a investigation into my application.

So its a waiting game. I set and wait, while they get to play games.

I just found out why they have to go to APPL first, they are the VEC before the FCC gets them.  Its held up at the ARRL.

EMAIL reply from the Club:
Yes the ARRL is the VEC all our test go to ARRL then to FCC
