Hello from Ontario, Canada
« on: February 04, 2012, 09:49:49 PM »
It many not be "North East" US, but it's close enough until they add an "Ontario" section.

Looking for people in the area that are operators so I can learn some of the Canadian aspects of getting my license.

Thank you,

EJ

Ham test online has the Canadian tests to take. Just like they have the US ones. I think for you guys there are only 2 tests. We have 3.
The more I learn, the less I know.

Welcome to the site.  Not to sound like a broken record, Ham Test Online has a Canadian veraion of the tests as well

$34.95   Canadian Basic study course (2-year subscription)
$29.95   Canadian Advanced study course (2-year subscription)

If you have not checked it out, please do.  I used it for 30 hrs and passed the US Tech and General on the same night.  I am studyng for the Extra now.
The only dumb question is the one that did not get asked!!

ejsilver, if you find some online resources that would be helpful to more northerners who might come across our happy little web-home here, please let us know!

Not just on this thread either, since since so much is the same - and some things intriguingly different, it will be very interesting to hear how study and testing go for you.
