Bioenno Power

(1/1)

spacecase0:
so I went to the DX convention yesterday as my other tasks ended up not happening
and while there found a very neat company
Bioenno Power
they have LiFePO4 batteries (likely the best chemistry for ham radio)
and they do them the correct way,
I talked with one of the engineers for about a half hour on every detail I could think of
the cell balance circuits work at any charge state, and they can take RF noise without messing up
they have 120V as well as solar chargers for them
the ones I talked with were ham radio people, they get what the batteries will be used for and have set things up for that
they sold me on the company entierly
just thought I would share what I found.

I bought one on black Friday.  Our old pickup needed a jump a few weeks ago.  Worked like a charm.  If I was AAA, I'd mail these out to all my clients.

I hope that everyone sees that the batteries that will start your car and the ones for deep cycle are not the same
this is somewhat true of lead acid, and very true of the LiFePO4 batteries
